Welcome to EventCheck Knox …

This website is designed to let planners know what other events are scheduled in the Knoxville area so they can avoid competing against a similar event set at the same time and targeted for a similar audience.

There are many excellent calendars in our community. EventCheck Knox is unique because it is designed specifically for planners. It will not include all gatherings but instead will concentrate on fundraisers, galas and award dinners, plus large festivals and celebrations.

Planners also can use this site to let us know about your event.

Thank you for using EventCheck Knox!

EventCheck Knox is brought to you by these sponsors who are really plugged into what’s happening around Knoxville.

EventCheck Knox is a remarkable resource for area nonprofits … well, anyone who is planning an event for an organization in Knoxville. My colleagues and I at the Clarence Brown Theatre access the event calendar often when planning our fundraisers and other events. We also enjoy the content included on the site specifically geared and curated for event planners. Best practices should be shared!

David Byrd, managing director - Clarence Brown Theatre

EventCheck Knox advises you to “look before you book,” and that is exactly what we did before selecting a date for the 2015 YWCA Keys of Hope Luncheon. We avoided a conflict with another luncheon hosted on the same day by another worthwhile nonprofit. We also used the calendar to find a new date for our annual Tribute to Women event, and by submitting it months ahead of time, we hope other organizations will realize the event has shifted from August to September and help avoid conflicts, so that more fundraisers in Knoxville are as successful as possible. EventCheck Knox is a tremendous asset for planners. It has become our go-to site to learn about what else is happening around town.

As director of events at Historic Westwood, it is critical to know what the competition is, and by that I mean who is competing for attendees at your special event. Checking EventCheck Knox is now my first step when talking with a client in order to make sure we are providing the best possible planning to make their event a success. This is an invaluable resource for any event planner, one that has been needed and the missing piece in Knoxville’s event scene. Thank you Moxley Carmichael and Pilot for making this happen.
