The Emerald O’ccasion Annual Dinner, now in its 32nd year, is a major fundraising event hosted by Catholic Charities of East Tennessee to benefit the organization’s programs. A VIP cocktail reception will start at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. This popular event brings together more than 500 members of the community for an evening of fun and fellowship, including an appearance from Bishop Richard Stika. The guest speaker will be Phillip Fulmer, former head coach of the Vols football program. The event also includes the presentation of the 6th annual ‘Creating Hope’ award to a deserving individual or organization for outstanding service to Catholic Charities of East Tennessee.
