The Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame, established in 1982, celebrates sports and serves as a significant fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. Former Vol football player and motivational speaker Inky Johnson will be the featured speaker. Ten individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for achievements in athletics, media, coaching, sports administration and officiating. Other honorees include Knoxville’s Most Outstanding Male and Female High School Athletes of the Year, Chad Pennington Professional Athlete of the Year, Pat Summitt Ignite Greatness Award Special Recognition, Thanks for the Memories Award and the Will McKamey Spirit Award.
