Front Page Follies is an evening of music and skits poking fun at news – and local newsmakers – and serves as a major fundraiser for college scholarships at the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State Community College. The event, now in its 39th year, is Knoxville’s version of “Saturday Night Live,” and includes dinner and silent and live auctions. Alan Williams of WVLT Channel 8 is the 2017 honoree.
