Smoky Mountain Service Dogs: A Night for Patriots

“A Night for Patriots” is a significant fundraiser for Smoky Mountain Service Dogs, which provides custom-trained mobility assistance service dogs for wounded veterans in East Tennessee. The event features a cocktail hour with cash bar; meet-and-greet with Wayne and Deby Kyle, parents of the late Chris Kyle, who wrote “American Sniper,” a bestseller that was made into a movie by Clint Eastwood; silent auction; displays of military memorabilia; tributes to the armed forces; dinner; and formal program with WBIR’s John Becker, an advocate for veterans’ causes, and other guest speakers, including Wayne Kyle.
