A networking and luncheon event will be held, sponsored by the Greater Knoxville Hospitality Association (GKHA), Visit Knoxville and Middle East Tennessee Tourism Council (METTC), with the region’s state legislators. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Tim Ezzell, director of the University of Tennessee’s Community Partnership Center, who will discuss the “Appalachian Regional Commission Study on Economics of Tourism.” Attire is business/business casual. A special presentation, “9 Lake Excellence in Tourism Awards,” also is part of the luncheon.
