37th Annual Free Pilot Company Independence Day Concert

Music Director Aram Demirjian will lead the Knoxville Symphony at the 37th Annual Free Pilot Company Independence Day Concert in a free, family-friendly concert as part of the City of Knoxville’s scaled down holiday weekend celebration. No tickets are required. Guests are welcome to sit inside the 950-seat amphitheater and around the surrounding lawn.

Enjoy familiar classics such as Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and classic patriotic tributes including the Armed Forces Salute and Valerie Coleman’s Seven O’Clock Shout. Knoxville Poet Laureate Rhea Carmon also will provide original poetry. The KSO partners with the City of Knoxville, Pilot Company and WBIR-TV for this concert. The concert be broadcast on WBIR Channel 10 at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 4.
