The Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame, established in 1982, celebrates sports and serves as a significant fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. Ten individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for achievements in athletics, media, coaching, sports administration and officiating. Peyton Manning, former Tennessee and NFL quarterback, will be the guest speaker. The 2021 class includes Heather Sumpter Blakemore (track & field); Mike Caldwell (football); former UT assistant coach David Cutcliffe (football); Mickey Dearstone (radio broadcaster); Donnie Graham (track & field official); Chris Groer (tennis); Lee Guetterman (baseball); Carly Pearson (para-athlete); Charlie Petrone (trainer); and Jay Wise (golf).
