An Evening at the Hazens: A 1920s Dining Experience

The Mabry-Hazen House will host a dinner in partnership with Heartfire Culinary to experience the tastes, ingredients and culinary history of Knoxville in the 1920s. Guests will enjoy a seven-course meal with appetizers, specialty cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages and coffee prepared by local chefs, Chris Cantrell and Amber Lloyd of Heartfire Culinary. Each course will reflect the culinary experience of that time period. Food historian Patrick Hollis will outline the history of grocers, restaurateurs, eaters, ingredients, techniques, dishes, beliefs and practices.
Seating is limited to 20 guests. Proceeds benefit the Hazen House Foundation. Attire: business casual to dressy.
