Enjoy a day of music, food and community at Gathering on the Grounds at the Historic Ramsey House, part of the Ancient Sounds Music Festival that kicked off Aug. 30 with Dinner in the Fork. The event features live performances by talented local artists and an array of local food trucks and local breweries. The Historic Ramsey House also will be open for tours. The event will occur rain or shine; bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the outdoor concert under an expansive tent.

Scheduled performances include:
12 p.m.: Wild Blue Yonder
1 p.m.: Blue Ridge Gathering
2 p.m.: Glen Ayr
3 p.m.: Lake Side Gospel
4 p.m.: New John’s Creek Grass

Tickets: $25 early bird/$30 at the gate; $20, Ramsey House members; $20, students with school ID; Children 12 and under admitted free.

All proceeds go directly to the ongoing educational programming and preservation of the Historic Ramsey House.
