The annual leadership awards luncheon honors people who have made a difference in the community. The luncheon is part of the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville celebration, the largest consortium of MLK events in East Tennessee. The MLK Special Awards will be presented. Sponsorships are available.

The keynote speaker will be Donald Casimere, founding member of the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement, a nonprofit established in 1994 to enhance accountability and transparency in policing and build community trust through civilian oversight.
