The annual leadership awards luncheon honors people who have made a difference in the community and includes a keynote speaker. The luncheon is part of the 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville celebration, the largest consortium of MLK events in East Tennessee. The MLK Special Awards will be presented. Sponsorships are available.

The Leadership Educational Symposium is held prior to the luncheon from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

The event typically is held in January in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day but has moved to April because of COVID-19 restrictions to start the new year.
