Art Gone Wild features works of art available for purchase that were created by the Knoxville Zoo’s “artists in residence.” Some zoo animals are trained to paint in the traditional sense, using brushes and/or fingers, including chimpanzees, gorillas and elephants. Others paint by walking over or stamping the canvas. The paw painters include lions, tigers, meerkats, bears, Komodo dragons and penguins. Patrons will enjoy wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres. This is an adults-only event, 18 years and older, with ID required.
