Arts & Culture Alliance Special Benefit: The Patrick Roddy Collection
The Arts & Culture Alliance will host a reception, sale and live auction called “A Man Who Thought in Color: The Pat Roddy Collection. More than 150 paintings created by and from the personal collection of James Patrick Roddy III will be on display. The reception and silent auction start at 5:30 p.m., followed by a live auction at 6:15 p.m. All proceeds from the purchased artwork from the Roddy Collection will be used for grants to local artists and nonprofit arts and culture organizations. “The Man Who Thought in Color: The Pat Roddy Collection” opens for exhibit Feb. 1 at the Emporium Center. Each exhibited piece will have a “buy it now” price. On Feb. 23, the exhibited pieces not already sold will be available at the invitation-only silent auction and reception.
