Beardsley Community Farm Solstice Supper
The Solstice Supper, a farm-to-table dinner, will be prepared by The Plaid Apron owner, Drew McDonald, and served at his restaurant in Sequoyah Hills. The supper will include locally sourced ingredients, including some of Beardsley Farm’s produce. Guests will learn about the farm, meet volunteers and share their gardening and cooking experiences. Guests may bring their own wine with a one-time corkage fee of $3 per glass. The menu will be all vegetarian; vegan options will be available upon advance request. Proceeds directly support CAC Beardsley Community Farm, which promotes food security and sustainable urban agriculture and grows over 4,000 pounds of produce annually to donate to local food pantries and a women’s shelter.
