Big Ears has partnered with Knoxville’s Cattywampus Puppet Council to forge Krewe du Cattywampus, pairing giant puppets with music for a New Orleans-inspired, second-line-style parade. Community members of all ages are invited to make giant puppets, masks, costumes and other art for the parade. The parade will start in the Old City at 1 p.m. with lineup at 12 p.m. and then transition into a Street Party from 2-4 p.m. at the Southern Railway Station with local and Big Ears musical acts, kids’ activities, food trucks and more.
