The Clarence Brown Theatre opens the 2018-19 season in a joint production with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra of Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide” to mark the 100th anniversary of Bernstein’s birth year. Bernstein was an influential composer, conductor, educator, activist, cultural ambassador and humanitarian.
