The annual gala benefits the Clarence Brown Theatre Artists Fund Endowment, which helps bring professional guest artists to the stages of the CBT. The 2016 honoree will be Paula Pell, a writer for Saturday Night Live for more than 20 years. Cocktails and blind wine drawing begin at 7 p.m., followed by 8:15 p.m. dinner, 9 p.m. live auction and 9:45 p.m. awards presentation. The theme will be inspired by Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball. Black tie and masks optional.
