The annual gala benefits the Clarence Brown Theatre Artists Endowment, which helps bring professional guest artists to the stages of the CBT. The gala includes a cocktail hour, lavish full course dinner and live auction. The 2019 honoree will be Jennifer Tipton, a Tony Award-winning lighting designer who grew up in Knoxville and whose early theater work included working at the University of Tennessee’s Carousel Theatre.
