'Come to Make Records' Pre-Exhibit Event

“The Come to Make Records” exhibit, which officially opens April 16, will hold a pre-event on April 15. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the following program: 6 p.m., art exhibit by Julie Belcher, music by saw player Robert Maddox; 7 p.m., live music performances of local musicians doing their versions of 1929 and 1930 Knoxville Sessions songs; and 7:30 p.m., screening of rare film footage by Knoxville sessions artists. The exhibit runs through Oct. 30.
