Connect Knox will welcome Thomas Friedman, author of “Thank You For Being Late: An Optimist’s Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations.” Bestselling author of “The World is Flat” and New York Times foreign affairs columnist, Friedman is renowned for his reporting and analysis of complex issues. He offers a blueprint for overcoming the stresses and challenges of a world being transformed by technology, globalization and climate change. The Connect Knox Speaker Series focuses on creating conversations and connecting people.
A meet-and-greet will be held from 5-5:45 p.m., with the speaking event starting at 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend but space is limited, and tickets are required. Attire is business/business casual.
