The Gala is the Knoxville Area Urban League’s most significant fundraising event of the year, and a celebration of the Volunteer of the Year, Minority Business, Corporate Leadership and Whitney M. Young Jr. Lifetime Achievement award winners. The evening is a celebration with food, fellowship and top-flight music. The 2016 performers will be Tower of Power, which has delivered its own blend of soul music and R&B for nearly 50 years. The Gala also provides an excellent opportunity for networking with top area business professionals. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, program and entertainment at 6:30 p.m.
