The Ethel Beck Society (EBS), a brunch devoted to honoring the rich heritage and legacy of African American women, will return for the first time since 2019. The event will  celebrate and honor, posthumously, 2023 EBS Woman of the Year Paula King Booker. Her daughter, Imani Mfalme, an advocate for social justice, will attend, and the event also will feature a conversation with Dr. Kim Brooks, obstetrician/ gynecologist, minister and author. Guests will be treated to brunch with mimosas, entertainment and a special EBS gift. The Ethel Beck Society (EBS) was established in 2018 and named in honor of Ethel Benson Beck, namesake of the Beck Cultural Exchange Center. Attire: Classy with a touch of yellow.
