“Evening at the Gate” is a fundraiser for Harbours Gate, a front-line neighborhood, community and inner city ‘peace corps’ that helps to provide food, clothing, medical care, employment, education and personal counseling to the needy. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner at 7 p.m., along with a presentation detailing the work of Harbours Gate. Terrie Winkle and the Davis Mitchell Band will provide live music. Mark Packer of WVLT-TV, Channel 8 will be master of ceremonies.
