Friends of Knox County Public Library, the Knox County Public Library, Union Ave Books, the East Tennessee Historical Society and WUOT will host an evening with award-winning journalist and writer Elaine Weiss. Weiss will speak about and sign copies of her latest book, The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote, which will be released March 6. Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero will introduce Weiss at the event. Tickets go on sale to the public Feb. 12. Ticketholders may purchase copies of The Woman’s Hour at the event at a 10 percent discount.
