The annual Great Smoky Mountains Salamander Ball is a ball based on the children’s book of the same name by Lisa Horstman. The 2021 event will be held at the Parkway Drive-In Theatre in Maryville. The event will include live music, screening of freshwater nature films and silent auction of adventure packages. All proceeds support Discover Life in America and its work to conserve the biodiversity of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Each ticket covers one carload of people.
