Historic Homes of Knoxville Founders Day Luncheon
The annual Historic Homes of Knoxville Founders Day Luncheon will celebrate the founding of the City of Knoxville 224 years ago. The 2015 event will feature speaker Kevin Triplett, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. A meet-and-greet with Triplett begins at 11:30 a.m.; program and luncheon begin at noon.
The luncheon promotes the city and its historic properties, including Blount Mansion, Crescent Bend House & Gardens, Historic Ramsey House, James White’s Fort, Mabry-Hazen House, Marble Springs State Historic Site and Westwood. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit The Historic Homes of Knoxville.
