In connection with the Hope Gala, the American Cancer Society will hold “How I Met My Mask: Happy Hour for Hope,” an early evening prequel event that will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, several themed revenue enhancers and an early rollout of a live auction item only available for bidding on Aug. 25. The annual Hope Gala, now in its 20th year, will be held Oct. 28 at Lakeshore Park.
