The John J. Duncan Sr. Award for Senior Advocacy, named in memory of U.S. Rep. John J. Duncan Sr., honors those who uphold the same support and advocacy of seniors and programs for seniors as the late congressman did in the 2nd District. This event, which marks the 17th anniversary of an event that benefits the Office on Aging’s Senior Citizens Information & Referral Service (SCIRS), includes food, beverages, wine pull and a silent auction.

The 2018 honorees are: Susie Stiles, LCSW, of Monica Franklin & Associates Elder Law, the Professional Award; and community leader Joan Regester, the Community Award.
