Trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis and drummer Herlin Riley will lead the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra in a celebration of the culture of New Orleans. Delfeayo is leader and chief arranger for the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, a New Orleans-based big band that performs weekly at one of the city’s most famed jazz establishments, Snug Harbor. Riley is an acclaimed drum master.
