Knox Heritage Art & Architecture Tour
The annual Art & Architecture Tour is a walking tour of historic sites, and the 2015 edition is the “Cripple Creek Crawl.” The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. at Historic Westwood with hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The tour of Cripple Creek and the Old City begins at 6:30 p.m. Jack Neely, local historian and author, and Kim Trent, executive director of Knox Heritage, will serve as guides.
The artwork featured on the tour are photographs submitted to Knox Heritage’s Photography Contest, with the 10 winning images creating the tour route. Attendees will receive a set of postcards of the images. The photographs will be exhibited at the Emporium, 110 S. Gay St., beginning Aug. 7.
