Knox Heritage Opening of Adelia Armstrong Lutz Studio

The Adelia Armstrong Lutz’s Painting Studio, the crown jewel of Historic Westwood, will be revealed at this event. The studio is where Lutz (1859-1931), who was Tennessee’s first professional female painter, worked, displayed her paintings and hosted the Nicholson Art League. Knox County historian Steve Cotham, head of the McClung Historical Collection, will share the story and impact of Adelia Lutz’s legacy.
