The Knoxville Area Urban League’s Shoes for School is an annual event that provides new shoes for area children who have been registered through local nonprofits. School supplies also will be distributed to all children while supplies last. These back-to-school basics give students stability and boost their self-esteem so that they can successfully start a new year in the classroom. The 2025 event will be at a new venue at Covenant Health Park.
