The annual spring concert, one of two yearly concert fundraisers for the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus, will be held at the Bijou Theatre. The KGMC will present, “American Choral Story: Imagine,” a journey through time to acknowledge the end of the U.S. Civil War 150 years ago, the women’s movement over the past 100 years, the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the current struggle for marriage equality. The concert is a celebration of love and acceptance.
