Following the tradition of the Vol Navy, Knoxville Opera’s new community project, the Opera Regatta, will hold its finale after two previous events on Oct. 4 and Oct. 11. The Opera Regatta is a pontoon boat with two opera singers and Maestro Brian Salesky onboard, which will travel down the Tennessee River. For the finale on Oct. 17, the Opera Regatta will again depart from its home dock, Duncan Boat Dock, and arrive for the final performance at Calhoun’s On the River at 2:30 p.m.
