Following the tradition of the Vol Navy, Knoxville Opera’s new community project, the Opera Regatta, will travel down the Tennessee River on a pontoon boat with two opera singers and Maestro Brian Salesky onboard. The first event was Oct. 4 and the finale is Oct. 11. The boat will launch Oct. 11 from Volunteer Landing Marina about noon and travel downstream toward Duncan Boat Dock, located at 2329 Duncan Road.
