Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center Fundraiser with The Young Fables

March 23, 2019 @ 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | $15 per ticket

The Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center (MAARC) will hold a fundraiser featuring entertainment by country music group and Maryville natives “The Young Fables.” The event also includes a silent auction of donated items from area businesses and restaurants. Gourmet food, beer and wine will be available for purchase from Rosa’s Catering. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the auction and concessions; the show begins at 6:30 p.m. The March 23 event coincides with National Puppy Day and Cuddly Kitten Day.

The mission of MAARC is to rescue animals in danger of being euthanized in the local shelter with a purpose of creating a safe, no-kill community and eventually advancing animal welfare for animals in surrounding county shelters or beyond. The fundraiser will help MAARC in development of its facilities and program, as well as website and social campaigns improvements to aid in the adoption process.
