McClung Museum Civil War Bus Tour

The McClung Museum will host a bus tour, “Forgotten Memorials: Designed for Remembrance, Relegated to Obscurity,” highlighting Knoxville’s neglected Civil War cemeteries and memorials. Dr. Joan Markel, Civil War curator, also will discuss the effect of the Civil War on the local population from 1861-1865. The ticket includes a keepsake McClung Museum 18-ounce beer tumbler, beer from a local brewery, snacks and the two-hour tour. Meet in the museum lobby by 1:45 p.m.
