The Museum of Appalachia, a Smithsonian-affiliate museum, will host its second annual Barn Dance. The evening will feature horse-drawn wagon rides, moonshine tasting, auctions, a Southern buffet dinner and traditional Appalachian dancing with live music. Dress is “barn dance” casual.

News Sentinel writer and author Sam Venable will serve as master of ceremonies. Performers include Tom Brantley and Missionary Ridge, Ramona Jones, Emi Sunshine and the Rain, the Teno Family, Aaron and Christ West and the Museum of Appalachia Band.
