A Step Ahead Foundation will hold an evening of music and friends at the organization’s first-ever backyard benefit concert. The event will feature barbecue, beer, kombucha and sno-balls and live music by local 1990s cover band Teen Spirit. (Band info also available on Instagram.) Admission includes tickets for one food and one drink item, with a vegetarian option available by request. Proceeds will support the mission of empowering women to reach their goals and follow their dreams without having to handle an unplanned pregnancy and offers education, information and access to long-acting, reversible birth control (LARC) to anyone in the 16-county service area for free.
