Pellissippi State will hold its celebration of annual alumni awards at a luncheon that will feature Dr. Keith Gray, president of The University of Tennessee Medical Center, as the keynote speaker and WATE-TV’s Tearsa Smith serving as host. Gray, recognized for outstanding patient care, compassion and leadership, feels called to serve and empower others while working to eliminate health disparities in East Tennessee. The two awards conferred at the luncheon include Pellissippi State’s Distinguished Alumni Award to honor an outstanding graduate in recognition of significant professional achievement and service to the community; and The Peggy Wilson Volunteer Alumni Award that highlights an outstanding graduate in recognition of extraordinary service to the Pellissippi State community.
