Positively Living & Choice Health Network’s People of Courage Luncheon – POSTPONED
(This event has been postponed indefinitely.)
Positively Living & Choice Health Network will hold its annual “People of Courage” luncheon, which will feature keynote speaker Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of Ryan White. Ryan died in 1990 at the age of 13 after being diagnosed with HIV following a blood treatment for hemophilia in 1984. His illness and determination to be able to attend school despite fierce public opposition sparked national changes in the treatment of people with AIDS. For additional information about sponsorship of the luncheon, which raises funds for the organization, contact Kim Lauth at [email protected].
Positively Living & Choice Health Network is a 501(c)(3) public health nonprofit serving East Tennessee’s most vulnerable populations: more than 5,000 individuals and families struggling to survive the challenges created by HIV, homelessness, mental illness, substance use, LGBTQ+ discrimination and disabilities. The organization has offices in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis and Upper Cumberland.
