The Women in Philanthropy Initiative, “Purses with Purpose,” nurtures and cultivates the leadership skills of female members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley and raises funds to support the programs. The event also is an opportunity to learn about women’s roles as philanthropists and how to enrich the lives of the Boys & Girls Clubs members. The event honors female club members who participated in the programs. Lori Tucker of WATE-TV Channel 6 will be a special guest.

The cost to join the group is $200. Gift Gourmet & Interiors is donating 15 percent of all sales for the day to Boys & Girls Clubs the Tennessee Valley.
