Ace Edewards again leads Scruffy City Orchestra for an energetic 2022 spring concert featuring a program of” Orchestral Treats” as part of the Cathedral Concert Series at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The event features the orchestra’s 2022 Concerto Competition Adult Winner Salina Fang performing Violin Concerto, Op. 47: I. Allegro Moderato by Jean Sibelius. Other “treats” on the program include William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini; The Bamboula: Rhapsodic Dance, Op. 75 by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor; The Planets, Op. 32: IV. Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity by Gustav Holst, and Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36: I. Andante sostenuto by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Admission is free. Attire: Casual, business casual, dressy.
