Sertoma will host its annual Friendship Dinner and honor the 2022 Lifetime of Love recipients, Mike and Marquita Stevens. The event will be emceed by Beth Haynes, WBIR news anchor and Sertoma board member, and the featured speaker will be Tony Vitello, baseball coach for the University of Tennessee. The conversation will be moderated by Jimmy Hyams, WNML sports journalist and radio broadcaster. In 2014, Mike Stevens Homes led the “Labor of Love” campaign to build new homes at a tremendous cost savings to Sertoma. Currently, he is involved in an ambitious remodel of the organization’s oldest group home, and the Stevens have used their platform to promote Sertoma and other nonprofits.
