The 6th Annual East Tennessee Veterans Memorial Association Medal of Honor Evening will recognize the service and sacrifices of Medal of Honor recipients from East Tennessee. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the 6:30 p.m. program and dinner.

Proceeds provide funding for the continued maintenance of the memorial pillars in World Fair’s Park and support the activities of the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial Association. U.S. Army Sgt. Raymond Duke will be honored at the 2016 event. Duke received the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions during the Korean War.
