Songwriters in the Round, a benefit for Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR), features songwriters who have penned classics for some of the top names in music. The event begins at 5:30 with a performance by local singer Zoe Nutt, followed by a 6 p.m. casual dinner. Then, the songwriters, including Phillip Lammonds, Ruthie Collins, Randy Montana and Mark D. Sanders, will share their songs and the stories behind them, in the spirit of Nashville and the famous Bluebird Cafe.
