Statehood Day at Blount Mansion

Tennessee became the 16th state on June 1, 1796. Blount Mansion, the Birthplace of Tennessee, will celebrate the 227th anniversary with special activities at the historic home of William Blount, governor of the Southwest Territory, the precursor to the state of Tennessee.
