Marble Springs State Historic Site, the home of John Sevier, Tennessee’s first governor, will celebrate Statehood Day with hands-on activities, historical demonstrations, local food and stories that span centuries. Highlights include cornbread cook-off and recipe swap; cornbread tasting; traditional skills and heritage crafts; living history encampments and reenactors; talks and storytelling; National Park rangers celebrating Tennessee and family activities.
