
Tennessee Theatre’s 1928 Night at the Movies

As part of the Tennessee Theatre’s 90th birthday celebration, the evening will feature a re-creation of a night at the movies in 1928. Patrons will enjoy a vintage cartoon, a timely newsreel, comedy short, Wurlitzer organ performance and screening of a vintage film starring Clara Bow, a 1920s movie star who was featured in the first film screened at the Tennessee Theatre. Admission is free; patrons are welcome to bring 60 cents as a symbolic purchase of a 1928 opening-day ticket.
